Animal Control
Our animal control services are a vital part of keeping Wewoka safe and healthy for all residents and their pets. Our department is committed to addressing issues with stray, loose, or potentially dangerous animals in accordance with city ordinances.
City-Wide Safety Commitment
The City of Wewoka is proactively enhancing safety across all municipal operations. Through our city-wide Safety Committee and wellness initiatives, we are actively developing comprehensive training programs and safety protocols for our employees.
This commitment helps ensure our public spaces and city services are managed with the highest regard for the well-being of our staff and the public they serve.
Emergency Preparedness
Being prepared for an emergency is a critical step in community safety. We encourage all residents to have a plan in place for common Oklahoma hazards, such as tornadoes, ice storms, and other severe weather.
To help your household stay prepared, consider creating an emergency kit with water, a flashlight, first-aid supplies, and other essentials. You can also establish a safe shelter location for bad weather, to ensure your family knows where to go in emergency situations.
