The meeting was called to order by Vice-Mayor Tambara Beyers at 6:00 p.m.
Council members present at roll call: Mrs. Smart, Mr. Williams, and Mrs. Edwards. Mayor Tom Ryan and council member Mr. Morrison were not present. Also present, City Manager Mark Mosley, City Clerk Theresa Barkhimer, and City Attorney Glenn Sharpe.

Mrs. Edwards made a motion to approve the consent docket as submitted, seconded by Mr. Williams. Aye’s Mrs. Edwards, Mr. Williams, Mrs. Smart and Mrs. Beyer. Motion passed. The following items were approved:

Early voting starts this Thursday. They will have City Hall for voting this Thursday – Saturday and then Tuesday is election day.
Next Wednesday is Juneteenth, offices will be closed. We will wait until Thursday to do cutoffs.
Alumni is next Saturday, June 22, we are working on all the parks, cemeteries and entrances into town, around the school and 7th street to the country club.
City Hall remodel: They are done with the new roof, just putting on caps and drains right now. The HVAC units will start being installed
We are doing a massive cleaning now, replacing all the ceiling tiles, and cleaning the yard. We have removed the trees on the south side of the building and slopping the yard toward the front for run off during heavy rains. We are looking at scheduling the new floors and carpet. We are looking at closing City Hall Friday, June 28, and moving everything out of the water office, code enforcement office and having new laminated flooring in those offices along with Theresa and Regina’s office. We will then open late next Monday, July 1st around 10:00 a.m. so we can put the water office back to operation. Then the next Friday, July 5, we will need to close again to move all the furniture out of the conference room, Victoria’s office and my office. They will lay carpet that Friday and Saturday, then we will open back up Monday, July 8 at 10:00 a.m.
We repaired the ceiling at the library during this time and painted the ceiling. We are getting estimates on remodeling the fire department and hopefully we will get started on that remodel sometime in July or August.
County believes they will start moving in on their side the week of the 24th this month.
DHS has asked us to help with some of their remodeling of the old dollar store building. They are agreeable with a hard start date and adding on to the cost of the contract. We are waiting for the estimates to come in before we renegotiate the contract.
The fireworks show at the lake this year will be Wednesday, July 3.
Pokkechetu is July 12-14 this year.
Will need to have a budget public hearing and approve FY 24-25 budget on July 17 and then a meeting on July 27 to approve EOY purchase orders.
New Lima Public Schools

Discussion and possible action to initiate a contract to control dogs running at large within New Lima School properties.

Mrs. Beyer made a motion to approve contract between City of Wewoka, New Lima School and the Seminole County Sherriff’s department to control dogs running at large holding harmless the City of Wewoka to be reviewed by City Attorney, seconded by Mr. Williams. Ayes Mrs. Beyer, Mr. Williams, Mrs. Smart and Mrs. Edwards. Motion passed.

8 printers,1 speaker, 1 DVD player, 2 typewriters, 1 coin sorter, 2 backup batteries, 1 receipt feeder, 1 receipt reader,1 laminator, 15 monitors, 11 keyboards, 1 shredder, 1 internet switch, and 8 computer towers.
All are not working and of no value.

Mrs. Edwards made a motion to surplus office equipment eight (8) printers, one (1) speaker, one (1) DVD player, two (2) typewriters, one (1) coin sorter, two (2) backup batteries, one (1) receipt feeder, one (1) receipt reader, one (1) laminator, fifteen (15) monitors, eleven (11) keyboards, one (1) shredder, one (1) internet switch, and eight (8) computer towers that are not working and have no value, seconded by Mrs. Smart. Aye’s Mrs. Edwards, Mrs. Smart, Mr. Williams, and Mrs. Beyer. Motion passed.
Wewoka Fire Department
