We Care for Our Community

The City of Wewoka cares about the well-being of our entire community, and we believe that a healthy and supported population is the foundation of a great, thriving city. We promote healthy living through our wellness initiatives and tobacco-free policies. We are also actively working to build places in Wewoka that promote exercise!

Workplace and Community Wellness Initiatives

The City of Wewoka is proud to develop our workplace and community wellness initiatives. These programs are dedicated to supporting the physical, mental, and emotional health of our employees and citizens. We are actively creating and running programs and partnerships that encourage healthy habits, provide access to support, and foster a positive, safe environment.

Community Health Partnership With TSET
The City of Wewoka is a TSET (Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust) grant recipient, a partnership that has helped us implement health-focused programs and policies that benefit our entire community. This includes our Tobacco Prevention Policy, which is essential for reducing secondhand smoke exposure and promoting a cleaner, safer quality of life for everyone.
